If you're heading to St. Louis this weekend, you might want to take advantage of the discounted adult (16 and up) tickets at the Gateway Arch. If you haven't taken the ride to the top, it's definitely worth it on a clear day (second pic above shows view from the top).
The National Park Service has selected certain summer weekends to promote the Arch with discounted ticket prices. The promotion will be on Saturday and Sunday only, July 18 and 19. In August, the dates are August 15 and 16.
Here are the discounted and regular ticket rates:
Tram to the top -- $7 (reg $10)
Movie (documentary, "Monument to the Dream") -- $4 (reg $7)
Riverboat cruise -- $12 (reg $14)
Tram and movie -- $11 (reg $14)
Tram and riverboat -- $21 (reg $22)
Looks like the weekend weather will be great... 70s and sunny!
